I am a biologist and PhD candidate at the University of Cincinnati in the Buschbeck lab. My interests are the evolution, development and function of unusual and novel morphologies in the animal kingdom, with insects as my primary model systems. Beyond research, I am a freelance artist, and use my illustrations as a tool to visualise and communicate science.
